GRS is a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals providing clinical therapeutic services within the health and disability sector. Our services include assessments, interventions, therapeutic support, and report writing for clients their carers, and families primarily under the NDIS. We are currently looking for an early career Speech Pathologist to provide services for our clients through a hybrid clinic and community model. We are based in Southport on the Gold Coast, and are within easy walking distance of tram services.

The caseloads cover:

- Speech, Language, social communication,



AAC and Dysphagia clients across the age range.
- Early Childhood assessment and intervention in our MDT team.
- School-aged children – speech, communication, development of expressive/receptive language, including AAC and literacy.
- Adults with a disability - communication systems and strategies for training to facilitate engaging in their social and life skills as well as inclusion within the community.
- Mealtime assessments and planning, as well as carer training.
- Provision of clinic and home-based therapy and home/school visits.

Responsibilities include:

- Assessment and evidence-based interventions for language, communication, AAC and dysphagia for both children and adults.
- Provision of telehealth interventions and stakeholder liaison for clients as required.
- Documentation of client activity using our practice management software in a timely manner and providing high-quality written reports.
- Working collaboratively with our team of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, dietitians, and our administrative team.
- Conducting individual and small group therapies.
- Providing professional development for support workers, teachers, carers and parents.
- Providing supervision for junior staff, allied health technicians/assistants and students in addition to monthly in-services and case conferences.




- Working to continue to build the speech pathology team and expand services to ensure our practice is up to date with the evidence base.

Essential criteria:

- Degree in Speech Pathology.
- Current Speech Pathology Australia membership.
- Own transport and driver's license.
- Current Working with Children and National Police Check.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team.
- Willingness to take on new experiences and challenges.
- Efficient time management and independent organisational skills.
- Ability to set and achieve goals in order to grow professionally.

STARTING DATE: Negotiable- May 2026 preferred.

Salary: $87,000 - $ 95,000 Negotiable, dependent on experience and preferred KPI (plus superannuation and CPD allowance). Performance bonus on reaching 110% of KPI.
