We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated ICT Support Officer to join our energetic team and contribute to our mission of operational excellence
About the Position
As an ICT Support Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our IT systems, ensuring compliance with internal standards, and supporting users through technical guidance and problem resolution. This position requires a proactive professional with strong analytical and communication skills.
Some of the key duties and responsibilities are:
- Conduct quality audit inspections and assess systems, data, and documentation.
- Identify discrepancies and high-risk areas to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Recommend and support corrective actions to address non-compliance.
- Liaise with users and management to promote adherence to ICT standards and procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues across software, hardware, and network infrastructure.
- Provide training and technical support on application software and operational procedures.
- Troubleshoot and support desktops, email, databases, printers, and operating systems.
- Identify and diagnose errors in systems and code using structured testing protocols.
- Perform systems architecture reviews and recommend hardware/software strategies.
- Maintain and develop technical documentation for ICT systems and procedures
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in ICT support or a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Hands-on experience with diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Proficiency in IT systems auditing, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Ability to provide end-user support and training effectively
