Home Croissanterie started in 2019 from the humble space of a home kitchen specialising in handmade laminated pastries. The business has since opened its first brick and mortar shop in 2023, and aims to deliver the highest quality experience centred around pastries and coffee.

The bakery is currently seeking a casual barista/all rounder to join our team in Balmain.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- A love for looking after customers and delivering the small details that make someone's day
- An enthusiasm for specialty coffee is a must - skills can be taught, but enthusiasm cannot
- An eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills to maintain a clean and effective workspace
- A passion for people and an ability to create an authentic and welcoming environment for customers
- The ability to work as a team under pressure in a rapid paced environment
- An adaptable and growth-oriented mindset that isn’t afraid to ask questions




- An openness to receiving feedback and a willingness to deliver it directly and effectively as well

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- 3+ years of barista experience preferred, but if you are passionate about coffee and hospitality with less experience you are welcome to apply as well
- Strong spoken and written English
- Previous experience as manager is a plus
- Interest in back of house production is a plus
