We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Female Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide ongoing support to a participant in Chelsea, VIC 3196.

About the Participant

You will be supporting a male participant who lives with his wife, their 9-year-old son, and a friendly small dog. We are looking for someone with strong English communication skills who is passionate about providing quality care and building positive relationships.

Available Shifts

- Tuesday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Employment Type: Casual

Key Responsibilities

- Provide person-centred support with activities of daily living, including:
- Personal care
- Meal preparation
- Light household duties
- Manual Handling (Hoist transfers)
- Promote independence while ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
- Support community participation, social outings, and recreational activities, including walking the family dog.
- Administer medication (where required) and maintain accurate documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the participant, their family,



and allied health professionals to deliver high-quality support.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home setting.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (preferred)
- Experience supporting participants with challenging behaviours
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- A compassionate, patient, respectful, and reliable approach
- Current Australian working rights
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Driver's Licence with a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Medication Administration Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
