About Us

Bellachino Cafe is a well-established café known for delivering high-quality meals and excellent customer service. We pride ourselves on using fresh ingredients and maintaining a welcoming dining environment for our customers.

We are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting overall kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and cook café-style menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency for regular customers

· Examine food ingredients to ensure freshness and quality

· Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment

· Season food appropriately during preparation and cooking

· Portion and present food, including plating and adding sauces and garnishes

· Store food in temperature-controlled facilities in accordance with food safety standards

· Prepare food to meet special dietary requirements, including modified meals suitable for elderly customers where required





· Assist in menu planning and development, with consideration to customer preferences and seasonal availability

· Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high and consistent standards

· Ensure food preparation areas are clean and hygienic in accordance with food safety regulations

· Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies

· Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure productive service

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

· Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff or apprentices

Skills and Experience

- At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Cook
- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual
