Projects Crew Leading Hand

The Role

As Quattro continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Underground Leading Hand to join our growing team within South Australia, with an anticipated start date of September 2026. Offering both full-time and casual opportunities, this role provides the chance to be part of a dynamic team while developing your skills through ongoing training, career progression, and exposure to specialised underground mining operations.

Duties include but not limited to;

- Installation of underground mechanical infrastructure, pipework, equipment and steelwork.
- Installation of Paste Reticulation and associated equipment.
- Operation of underground mobile plant including light vehicles, IT's and flatbed trucks.




- Paste Wall Construction.
- Read Engineering drawings and plans.
- Be familiar with JSA's and other Hazard Identification systems and their application in the workplace.
- Surface management of the underground reticulation system including flushing and remote actuation of paste diverters for dumping.
- Performing all duties with a priority on all aspects of safety.
- Provide leadership and direction to site crews, ensuring work is completed safely and effectively.
- Other duties required by the Site Supervisors.

About you

- Experience underground in a similar role or in roles such as Service Crew, Paste Fill Airleg roles would be highly regarded
- Isuzu Flatbed (or similar) Ticket
- L-70 and L-120 integrated Tool Carrier
- Experience using a pneumatic drill is desirable
- Ability to understand and read Engineering drawing and plans.
- Current Police Clearance and Manual Driver's License
- Ability to be in a team whilst maintaining a high standard of work quality and housekeeping
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
