Bayvac Pty Ltd, trading as Eagle Earthworx, is a Central Coast-based civil earthworks and contracting business specialising in civil trenching, pipelaying and drainage works for electrical contractors on commercial projects. We work across a range of civil infrastructure projects and are known for reliable, high-quality workmanship on-site.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Pipelayer/Drainer to join our team on a full time basis. This is a hands-on site-based role working on civil trenching and drainage projects for commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lay, align and grade pipes for stormwater, sewer and drainage systems in accordance with plans and specifications
- Excavate and prepare trenches to correct depth, width and grade for pipe installation
- Install pipe bedding, backfill and compact trenches to required standards
- Read and interpret civil engineering plans, survey marks and site drawings




- Operate and work safely alongside civil plant and equipment on active worksites
- Ensure all work complies with WHS requirements and relevant Australian Standards

Skills & Experience Required

- Relevant trade qualification in drainage/pipelaying, or at least 3 years’ relevant hands-on experience in civil pipelaying/drainage work
- Sound understanding of trenching, pipe-laying and drainage installation practices
- Ability to read civil plans and work to grade/level requirements
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Current driver’s licence; White Card required

Other Requirements

- Reliable, physically capable of manual civil construction work
- Able to work as part of a small on-site crew
- Own reliable transport to and from site (site locations vary across the Central Coast region)
