We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team at Shoes Direct on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week).

About the Role

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers with enquiries, processing sales, maintaining store presentation, and supporting day-to-day store operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service and product advice.
- Process in-store sales and payments accurately.
- Monitor incoming online shop orders and fulfil orders promptly and accurately.
- Pick, pack and prepare online orders for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate stock levels across the retail store and online shop.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented store.
- Support the team with general administrative and operational tasks

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail sales or customer service role.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Proficient in using computers, including Point of Sale (POS) systems, Microsoft Office, email, and web browsers.
- Familiarity with Shopify platform is a bonus.




- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
