About the Role
As a Chef at Bontempo Pizzeria, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of Italian dishes, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring a clean and organised kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook pizzas, pasta, entrees and other Italian dishes
* Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards
* Manage kitchen preparation and service efficiently
* Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
* Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
* Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage
About You
* Previous experience as a Chef in an Italian restaurant or pizzeria is preferred
* Experience with pizza and Italian cuisine is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy setting
* Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented
* Good communication skills
* Availability to work evenings and weekends
