Position Overview
Starling Services is seeking a qualified Enrolled Nurse to join an aged care facility in Queensland. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care while ensuring compliance with clinical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and person-centered nursing care to residents
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating patient health conditions
- Administer medications as per scope of practice
- Support Registered Nurses and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Ensure adherence to aged care standards and infection control protocols
Required Skills Experience
- Proven experience in Aged Care
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Knowledge of aged care standards and best practices
Mandatory Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration (valid and up to date)
- Evidence of vaccinations:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Pertussis (within last 10 years)
- Current NDIS clearance or Aged Care Check
- Criminal History Check (valid and current)
- Proof of work rights in Australia
- Valid photo identification (certified)
- Recent clinical references (2 referees within last 12 months)
- Evidence of relevant training
Contract Details
- Hours: Up to 80 hours per fortnight
