Employer Engagement Officer/Business Development Officer
Location: Southern WA (Can be based in one of the following: Bunbury, Busselton, Collie, Manjimup)
Salary: $77,452.28 plus superannuation

About the Role
As a Diversity Recruitment Specialist, you will play a key role in connecting job seekers with disability to meaningful employment opportunities. Through strong employer engagement, reverse marketing strategies and tailored employment support, you will help create pathways into sustainable employment while promoting inclusive hiring practices across the community.
You will work closely with clients to understand their goals, strengths and employment aspirations, while building relationships with employers to identify and develop suitable opportunities. This role combines recruitment, business development, coaching and advocacy to deliver positive outcomes for both clients and employers.
Key Responsibilities
Employer Engagement & Business Development
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with local employers.
· Identify and create employment opportunities through reverse marketing strategies.
· Promote the benefits of inclusive hiring and educate employers on disability inclusion.
· Support employers with workplace adjustments and disability accommodation requirements.
· Manage vacancy sourcing and placement opportunities aligned to client skills and goals.
· Represent the organisation at industry events, job fairs and community expos.
Client Support & Employment Preparation
· Provide individualised employment support and job search assistance.
· Facilitate job readiness workshops and Job Clubs.
· Assist clients with resume development, interview preparation and workplace presentation skills.
· Deliver tailored employment activities including task analysis, job carving and customised employment strategies.
· Support clients throughout the recruitment and placement process.
Workplace Assessments & Post Placement Support
· Conduct workplace assessments and identify accessibility or support requirements.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure suitable job matching and placement success.
· Provide post-placement support to both clients and employers.
· Monitor placement outcomes and facilitate sustainable employment opportunities.
Administration & Compliance
· Maintain accurate employer, vacancy and client records within internal systems.
· Manage wage subsidy processes, including eligibility verification and documentation.
· Ensure compliance with contractual,
organisational and legislative requirements.
· Achieve agreed placement and performance targets.
· Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures.
About You

Essential Requirements
· Current Driver Licence.
· National Police Check.
· Relevant qualification or willingness to obtain one if required.
