About the Role

For our client the Broker Associate plays an essential role to ensure their clients are guided through the complexities of property finance process. Working with the small, but experienced team based in Cronulla, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional home loan application support and service by helping them provide outstanding experiences for their clients from post-approval to settlement as well as reviewing existing client’s needs and overall client management.

This role could suit someone on either Full Time or Part Time basis depending on candidate availability.

Responsibilities

- Manage the home loan process from initial contact by head-broker, to post-approval, and right through to settlement/funding
- Deliver exceptional loan application support and service and pro-actively manage escalations, ensuring all relevant parties are across any potential issues which require action and/or resolution
- Meet all SLA's and ensure stakeholder expectations are met
- Solve problems for inflight home loan applications to ensure applications are progressing within SLA
- Liaise directly with varying parties to obtain applicable information,



documentation or clarification as required
- Manage a pipeline of home loan applications simultaneously
- Maintain existing back-book/database by contacting existing clients of Ark Lending Solutions and completing home loan reviews with a view to ensure Ark Lending Solutions becomes the existing clients first point of contact for all things mortgage lending

What you will have

- Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a rapid paced and high-volume home lending environment
- Solid understanding of mortgage deals, credit principles and loan application documentation
- Previous experience with Infynity CRM and Apply Online (AOL) would be highly regarded
- Ability to quickly understand an application and address any issues to ensure deal flow; and continually maintain exceptional levels of support and service delivery
- Ideally previous Mortgage Broker office experience in similar role
- A client-centric approach and the ability to naturally build relationships especially over the phone
- Self-driven and a desire to learn, with high organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- A real team-focused personality that embraces collaboration and excellent customer service
