Protech is seeking experienced Processing Techniciansto join our client’s mining operation in the Northern Territory on a rotating FIFO roster. This role is ideal for candidates withgold processing,CIP,CITEC,and general mineral processing experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Immediate start
- 8/6 – 7/7 Days/Nights Roster
- Casual Hourly Rate: $58–$65/hr
- FIFO available from: Brisbane, Perth, Darwin, Alice Springs
- Camp accommodation and meals provided
- Super on ALL Hours
- Weekly Pay (Thurs)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate and monitor processing plant equipment including:
- Primary crusher, mill, SAG/Ball regrind circuits
- Flotation tanks and gravity circuits
- Thickeners and CIP tanks
- Conduct routine sampling across the plant and submit samples for laboratory testing
- Undertake CITEC/control room duties as required
- Perform plant inspections, fault reporting, and troubleshooting
- Operate mobile machinery (bobcat, skid steer) as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
- Contribute to a strong safety culture and follow all site procedures

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Valid Manual Driver’s License




- Gold processing experienceessential (crushing, milling, CIP, flotation)
- Experience usingautomated control systems(e.g., CITEC)
- Mobile equipment tickets: Bobcat & Skid Steer
- Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Valid & contactable references
- Strong understanding and adherence to OHS
