Profectus is seeking experienced Dev Ops Engineers for a major Australian Government program. These roles suit hands‑on engineers who can automate build, integration and deployment, streamline delivery through CI/CD, and resolve integration and workplace issues, working closely with stakeholders and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation and continuous integration
Integrate and build components, subsystems and interfaces to create operational systems and services
Configure and manage build and test environments, resolving configuration drift and inconsistencies
Diagnose and resolve integration, build, deployment and environment issues, including supporting deployments and major incidents
Automate repetitive tasks and optimise build and deployment workflows
Contribute to systems integration standards, tools and continuous improvement

Maintain accurate documentation and configuration records

Required Experience

Strong Dev Ops experience with CI/CD, automation and continuous integration
Experience integrating and building components across complex, multi-platform environments
Familiarity with build, deployment and environment management tooling and infrastructure as code




Australian Government experience as a minimum, with strong problem‑solving and documentation skills
Ability to operate effectively both independently and within integrated, multi‑vendor delivery teams
AWS or Azure experience, including containers and orchestration
Experience with pipeline and automation tooling such as Azure Dev Ops and Artifactory
Experience delivering within agile or scaled‑agile (SAFe) environments

Relevant Dev Ops or cloud certifications

Security Clearance Requirements

Must be an Australian Citizen

Must hold a Baseline security clearance (minimum)

Working Arrangements

Hybrid; predominantly onsite with periodic work from home where appropriate
Canberra preferred

Candidates based in VIC, NSW, SA or QLD may also be considered
