Be a part of a new and exciting initiative developed by 54 reasons Mount Isa that aims to reduce the incidence and impact of violence among young people. As the Project Lead you will be responsible for developing a coordinated response that supports young people, their families, and their wider support networks to create safer relationships, healthier communities, and improved long-term outcomes.
54 reasons is Australia's leading child rights organisation - no ordinary not-for-profit.
Proudly part of the Save the Children Australia Group and global movement, we're here to make sure that children and young people have their rights met and thrive, in all their diversity.
With the child's voice at the centre, we provide quality services to children and their caregivers in every state and territory, and across regions, remote areas and capital cities. From our programs to our support services - this is the place to realise your purpose.
A place to make a difference:
In this full-time, 12-month role (till August 2027), you'll work as a part of the Mt Isa team to help us create lasting change for children everywhere.
You will make a difference by:
- Lead the design and implementation of the integrated service model
- Building strong collaboration between DFV, Youth Services, and Family Support teams.
- Ensuring practice responses are trauma-informed, culturally safe, family-inclusive, and evidence-based.
- Developing shared policies, procedures, assessment frameworks, and intervention pathways.
- Overseeing program monitoring, evaluation, reporting,
and outcomes measurement
- Supporting the development of workforce knowledge and capability across all participating teams
A place to feel valued:
Your deep expertise in leading the design and delivery of an integrated service model responding to Youth Intimate Partner Violence, drawing on your project leadership, stakeholder engagement, communication, relationship-building, collaboration, influencing, and problem-solving skills will be invaluable. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, build trusted partnerships, facilitate co-design approaches, and navigate complex issues will be key to driving successful project outcomes through effective coordination, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Remote Benefits: generous annual remote location allowance paid on top of your base salary, plus 5 weeks' annual leave to use in a range of ways to ensure you're able to perform at your optimum - excludes FIFO arrangements
- Supportive Managers - we provide professional supervision training and monthly supervision sessions so you can feel supported and build a career at Save
