4impact is seeking Multiple API Developer to design and implement integrations on microservices based architecture.

About the role

- Design and develop reusable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and AI‑assisted coding within AWS environments.
- Collaborate with integration architects and platform teams to build scalable service frameworks that can be adopted across the enterprise.
- Plan, document, and implement technical specifications for new API features and system designs.
- Write effective, testable code and perform thorough code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimise core APIs to meet service level agreements and performance targets.
- Configure alerts, logging, and scalability solutions using AWS cloud services.
- Support the migration of legacy SOA platforms into modern microservices‑based architectures.
- Identify integration patterns and design solutions aligned with microservices best practices.




- Implement CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, and Git.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non‑IT stakeholders.

About the candidate

Experience Required:

- 5+ years of API and Microservices development using Java, Springboot in AWS
- 2+ years experience with AWS cloud
- Experience designing and implementing integrations on microservices based architecture
- Experience in using DevOps tools & frameworks for managing infrastructure as code (CI/CD) like CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins, Git
- Exp in Spring Security
- Experience with systems integration, Springboot, APIs (SOAP, REST), API Management platform (Apigee), events streaming (Kafka) and containerisation (Kubernetes / Docker)

Technical skills:

- Modern Java (at least version 17)
- Spring Boot (at least version 2)
- Spring Security
- Cloud technology AWS preferred
- Docker (building images, managing a Docker repository)
- Event Streaming (Apache Kafka)
- Messaging (ActiveMQ)
- SQL (Oracle RDBMS, Amazon RDS -Postgres)
- NoSQL (MongoDB, Mongo Atlas)
- Web services (RESTful, SOAP, HTTP)
- API Gateway (Apigee Edge or Apigee X)
