Volley Recruit is partnering with a leading South Australian civil contractor delivering major SA Water, stormwater, sewer, watermain, road construction and subdivision infrastructure projects across Adelaide.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we're seeking experienced Senior Civil Pipelayers to join a well-established team delivering some of South Australia's most significant civil infrastructure projects.
The Opportunity
Working as part of an experienced civil crew, you'll play a key role in the installation of underground utilities and associated civil infrastructure.
We're looking for pipelayers with proven experience across:
- SA Water infrastructure projects
- Watermain installation
- Sewer and stormwater installation
- Deep trench excavation
- Bedding, laying and joining pipe
- Installation of pits, junctions and maintenance holes
- Reading construction drawings and levels
- Working safely around live underground services
- Assisting with testing, commissioning and reinstatement works
Applicants with experience across multiple disciplines will be highly regarded.
Highly Regarded
- Skid Steer ticket and operating experience
- Roller ticket and operating experience
- HR Driver's Licence
- Experience working around live services
- Ability to assist operators and lead by example within a crew
About You
- Proven experience as a Civil Pipelayer on infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of trench safety and underground service installation
- Ability to read plans and work to levels
- Current White Card
- Relevant civil construction experience
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively within a team
- Willing to assist with general civil duties as required
