JP Recruitment is seeking a reliable Production Worker for a day-shift position within a busy manufacturing facility based in Neerabup.
This role works in a small team and supports the production department with recycling waste which is done using various machinery. It would suit a physically capable person who enjoys practical work and is looking for consistent weekday hours and a long-term career chance.
Working as part of a small team, your duties will include:
- Supporting daily production and recycling operations
- Operating a forklift to move materials around the facility
- Using a chainsaw on a regular basis
- Sorting, handling and preparing materials for recycling
- Performing physical and manual-handling duties
- Keeping the work area clean and operating safely
This is a day-shift position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm.
Requirements to be considered are:
- Forklift Licence: A current LF licence and experience is essential
- Chainsaw Experience: Previous experience safely operating a chainsaw
- Physical Fitness:
Comfortable with manual handling and being active throughout the shift
- Mechanical Aptitude: Able to learn how to operate and maintain equipment
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, excellent attendance and reliable transport
- Safety Focus: Willingness to follow procedures and work safely in an industrial environment
- Previous machine-operating, recycling, manufacturing or production not essential however experience will be highly regarded
What’s on Offer
- Rate: $35.00 per hour plus overtime rates after 7.6 hours
- Permanency is intended at 13 weeks (at clients discretion)
