YARDHAND - KEWDALE WA

We are searching for a Yardhand for our KEWDALE depot, someone who is looking for a long-term stable position, who is passionate about safety, and who has a solid work ethic, effective communication, and a willingness to go the extra mile for our clients.

This is a FULL-TIME role on offer, Monday to Friday, 38 hours guaranteed, with overtime opportunities, paid annual and personal leave, public holidays, and no rain days.

We have a few requirements:

- Forklift Licence (Ideal but not critical)

- Must have a high level of physical fitness and used to heavy lifting

- Must be able to lift up to 20kg regularly as part of daily duties

- Construction White Card (Must have, can be obtained online)





- Own reliable transport

- Neat, legible handwriting for paperwork including delivery/pick-up dockets

- Self-Motivated

- Valid Australian work visa or work rights required for this position

Please note successful completion of a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol tests, is mandatory.

Your duties will include:

- General maintenance of the yard

- Loading/unloading hired equipment from trucks.

- Cleaning via high-pressure washer of soiled hire equipment.

- Painting of hire equipment

- Repair and maintenance of equipment to a workable and safe condition (full training provided);

- Visual maintenance of the trucks, to ensure a clean and presentable state

- Conducting pre-start checks on all forklifts and associated equipment.
