About the role

We're searching for a Workforce Development Manager extraordinaire. Someone who can discover talent, grow capability and inspire the next generation of Aboriginal leaders and professionals across the Barkly region. You'll take centre stage in BRADAAG's "Grow Local" strategy, creating opportunities for people to build rewarding careers while strengthening culturally safe service delivery for our communities.

What you'll be doing

- Lead BRADAAG's workforce development agenda, ensuring we have the right people, skills and capability to deliver on our strategic goals.

- Identify emerging workforce needs and design practical learning, development and career pathway opportunities that support individual and organisational growth.

- Drive the implementation of BRADAAG's "Grow Local" strategy, strengthening employment, training and leadership opportunities for Aboriginal people across the Barkly region.

- Coordinate and support learning and development initiatives, including onboarding, mandatory training, professional development and cultural capability programs.

- Foster a culture of learning, mentoring and continuous improvement where people are empowered to grow and succeed.

- Partner with managers to support recruitment, workforce planning, succession planning, staff development and retention initiatives.





- Monitor workforce capability, training and compliance requirements to support quality service delivery and organisational accountability.

- Provide timely advice and practical support to the leadership team on workforce strategy, capability building and people-related matters.
