Operations Excellence Specialist

We are seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to drive continuous improvement and provide technical leadership across our Beverley ISR Operations. Working in partnership with the Mine Operations Manager, this role will focus on optimising plant performance, streamlining operational processes, and strengthening safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical capability, practical operational judgement, a commitment to safe and compliant work practices, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.

About the role

You will:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability and productivity.
- Analyse plant performance and operational data to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Develop and standardise operating procedures and production processes.
- Provide technical support to operations, engineering and production teams.
- Lead or support Management of Change (MoC), risk assessments, HAZOPs and incident investigations.




- Contribute operational expertise to improvement projects from planning through to implementation.
- Coach and support site personnel while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

About you

You will bring:

- A degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Process or Mechanical preferred).
- Experience in mining, mineral processing or a chemical processing environment.
- A strong track record in continuous improvement and plant optimisation.
- Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
