Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kindergarten Director to lead the strategic and operational management of our Kindergarten.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of dedicated educators in delivering a high-quality, play-based program that promotes children's learning, wellbeing and development within a secure, inclusive and Christ-centred environment.

This is a permanent full-time position with remuneration commensurate with the successful candidate’s teaching experience and a position of added responsibility allowance. This position will commence from the beginning of 2027.

Your Role

- Lead the strategic and operational management of the Kindergarten.
- Deliver a high-quality early childhood program aligned with the EYLF, NQF and QKLG.
- Mentor and develop educators, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Lead quality improvement, compliance and Assessment and Rating preparation.
- Oversee Kindergarten operations, including staffing, budgeting and reporting.
- Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
- Participate in a spiritually vibrant culture aligned with the College's Christian mission and values.

About You





- Practicing Christian with the ability to actively support and promote the College's Mission, Vision and Values.
- Proven leadership experience in early childhood education.
- Strong knowledge and implementation of the EYLF, NQF, QKLG and Child Safe Standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Child Care Subsidy system and compliance.
- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
- Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
- A Master of Education (or another mission-aligned field) is desirable, but not essential.
- Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
- Current Working With Children Check (Exemption Card).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
- National Child Safety Training certification through the GECCKO platform.
