About the Role
This is a hands-on Mechanical Fitter opportunity focused on mechanical fitting, assembly, installation and project work across local industrial sites.

You will work alongside experienced Boilermakers, Welders and other trades to deliver quality outcomes across a range of projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Completing mechanical fitting, assembly and installation work
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Installing, aligning and adjusting mechanical components
- Working with industrial equipment and mechanical assemblies
- Assisting with measuring, drilling, grinding and component preparation




- Carrying out basic mechanical repairs and fault finding
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Collaborating with supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
- Experience working within industrial environments
- Strong mechanical fitting and assembly skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with mechanical installation, alignment and adjustments
- A solid safety mindset and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Experience within industries such as steel, manufacturing, infrastructure, mining, ports or heavy industry will be highly regarded.

Additional tickets such as White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP or Forklift will be advantageous.

- Monday to Friday 7am – 3:30pm
- Pay: $48 - $50 / hour
