Our client “Cross Roads Hotel” is seeking experienced chef to join their team. To be considered for the position you must have extensive experience working in a busy restaurant kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Preparing and cooking food
- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and Kitchen staff
- Demonstrating techniques
- Enforcing hygiene regulations
- May select and train staff
- May freeze and preserve foods
Experience and Requirements:
- 2+ years experience
- Experience training, developing and mentoring kitchen teams
- Solid communication skills
- Willingness to lead and demonstrate passion cooking
