Rigger/Crane Operator – Asset Management Team

Location: Port Pirie, South Australia | Roster: 5/4 Days Only

Nyrstar Port Pirie is seeking a Rigger/Crane Operator to join our Asset Management team. This is your chance to take on an exciting, community-focused role that ensures the safety and efficiency of our site operations.

This residential position offers a 5/4 equal-time roster (4 days on/5 off, 5 on/4 off, 5 on/5 off), ensuring you enjoy more time off than the standard weekend – including two full weekends off every month.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

Essential

Current valid intermediate rigging (RI) licence or willing to obtainCurrent valid non slewing crane (CN) licenceCurrent valid elevated work platform (WP) licenceCurrent valid forklift (LF) licenceCurrent valid bridge & Gantry crane (CB) licence

Desirable

Current valid tower crane operators (CT) licenceCurrent valid Scissor Lift Yellow Card licenceExperience in a mining/resources industry or similarExperience in mobile crane operations5 years or more demonstrated rigging experience

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:





Perform rigging and crane operations under the HRL terms and conditions.Performing lifting work to assist the maintenance teams with their work.Performing mobile and tower crane operation tasks as per a CN and CT licence.Work in a protected and confident manner and comply with all the Site Safety Procedures.
