About The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced tradesperson to work within a commercial cleaning contract in Acton, ACT. You will liaise with building occupants and contractors, ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of day-to-day maintenance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assign contractors and inspect general maintenance, repairs and minor refurbishment works across accommodation rooms, common areas and facilitiesAssign contractors and inspect basic carpentry, painting, plumbing and handyman tasksConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activitiesAssist with furniture assembly, room setup and facilities preparation for events and conferencesMaintain grounds, outdoor areas and building presentation standardsRespond promptly to maintenance requests and operational issuesLiaise with contractors and service providers where requiredEnsure all work is undertaken safely and in accordance with WHS requirements

About You

Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities management or a handyman roleSound practical skills across a range of general maintenance disciplinesDemonstrated understanding of risk management principles, including hazard identification, risk assessment,



and control measuresStrong attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standardsAbility to work independently and effectively manage competing prioritiesFriendly, professional and service-oriented approach
