Role Description Candidate will perform daily electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on heavy mobile equipment and vehicles, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
Responsibilities include scheduled electrical maintenance, attending breakdowns, completing maintenance and repair documentation, and following site safety procedures and company policies.
The role also involves collaborating with mechanical technicians, communicating clearly with supervisors and clients, and contributing to continuous improvement of maintenance practices.




QualificationsPossess solid Electrical Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills for heavy mobile equipment and vehicles.Possess effective Fault Finding and Electrical Repairs skills for diagnosing and resolving complex electrical issues.Candidates should possess experience working on mining or civil sector equipment (e.g., trucks, loaders, excavators, ancillary plant).Relevant trade qualification as an Auto Electrician or equivalent, with current electrical licenses and certifications where required.Candidates should possess a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow procedures, and the capacity to work in remote environments on FIFO rosters.Candidates should possess a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening, and meet site access requirements.
