About the role

Slater Electrical is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. We are based in Rockingham, WA 6168. What you'll be doing

As an Electrician at Slater Electrical, your key responsibilities will include:

- Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, wiring and equipment in residential and commercial properties

- Testing electrical systems and components using specialised diagnostic equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards

- Troubleshooting electrical faults and providing effective solutions in a timely manner

- Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations and Australian Standards

- Conducting safety inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical installations

- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used on site

- Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently

What we're looking for

To be successful in this Electrician role, you will need:

- Current Australian Electrical License (State Registration) for Western Australia - EW Licence

- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience working as a qualified electrician in the Australian market

- Strong knowledge of electrical theory,



wiring methods and installation techniques

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical documentation

- Competence in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools such as multimeters, insulation testers and circuit analysers

- A solid understanding of the National Electrical Code and relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000)

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport

- A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to health and safety protocols

- Preferred: Experience in residential, commercial or industrial electrical installations

- Must have a White Card & Drivers licence
