About Bluerydge

We are seeking AHPRA-registered psychologists interested in contributing to psychological security assessment services supporting Defence and Commonwealth personnel security outcomes.

These opportunities are suited to psychologists who enjoy structured assessment work, professional judgement, behavioural analysis, psychological formulation and high-quality written reporting in sensitive government environments.

About the role

As a Registered Psychologist, you may support psychological security assessment services associated with personnel security, trusted workforce and privileged access environments.

The work may include:

- Conducting structured psychological interviews

- Reviewing referral, background and assessment information

- Assessing behavioural, psychological and suitability factors relevant to personnel security decisions

- Preparing clear, evidence-based psychological assessment reports

- Translating psychological observations into practical, security-relevant findings

- Applying professional judgement in complex or sensitive assessment contexts

- Participating in quality review, supervision and professional calibration

- Handling sensitive personal and security-related information with discretion and care

- Working within structured Commonwealth security, confidentiality and reporting requirements





This work would suit psychologists with experience or interest in clinical assessment, forensic psychology, organisational psychology, occupational suitability assessment, behavioural assessment, risk assessment, personnel security, Defence, intelligence, law enforcement or Commonwealth Government environments.

About you

We are looking for psychologists who bring professional maturity, sound judgement and a genuine interest in national security work.

You will ideally have:

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist

- Australian citizenship

- Strong structured interviewing and assessment skills

- Excellent written reasoning and report writing capability

- The ability to make balanced, evidence-based professional judgements

- High attention to detail

- Strong professional ethics and discretion

- Confidence working with sensitive personal information

- Ability to operate in structured, secure and compliance-focused environments

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:

- Psychological assessment and report writing

- Forensic, clinical or organisational psychology

- Occupational or suitability assessments

- Behavioural risk assessment

- Psychometric assessment

- Personnel security or insider risk environments

- Defence,



intelligence, law enforcement or Commonwealth Government settings

- Work involving security-cleared personnel or high-trust roles

Existing Australian Government security clearance is highly desirable, including Baseline, NV1, NV2 or TSPV. Candidates who do not currently hold a clearance but are eligible and willing to obtain one are also encouraged to apply.
