PLANET GLASS is seeking a Draft Person to join our team in Maddington, Western Australia. Experience is important but not essential as training will be provided. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in issuing shop drawings to projects.
What you'll be doing
- Producing detailed and accurate architectural/shop drawings with CAD software
- Collaborating closely with clients, designers to translate design concepts into detailed drawings and production list
- Ensuring all drafting work adheres to architectural and structural requirements
- Providing support and assistance to the production, fabrication and installation teams as needed
- Uploading detailed records and documentation for all drafting projects to correct file folders on the server.
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in architectural drafting or a related field
- Proficient in the use of CAD software, with a strong understanding of architectural design principles
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve technical challenges
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
