Key Responsibilities

Provide anaesthetic and perioperative services across elective and emergency proceduresConduct pre-anaesthetic assessments and post-operative reviewsDeliver safe anaesthetic care with continuous patient monitoringParticipate in a 24/7 emergency anaesthetic rosterSupport emergency surgery and critical care responsesProvide procedural expertise including airway management and vascular accessParticipate in Medical Emergency Team (MET) and Code Blue responsesSupervise anaesthetic trainees and junior staff where appropriateSupport recovery room and day surgery servicesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomesParticipate in quality improvement, education, and service development initiatives
