About the role
Senior Customer Service Officer – Ongoing, Full Time (Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm)
Band 3 ($62,410 to $77,132 plus super)
Westernport Water are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Customer Service Officer to join our Customer Relations team. Reporting to the Manager Customer Relations, the role will act as a senior point of contact, providing guidance to team members, resolving complex customer enquiries, and ensuring service standards are consistently achieved.
This role would be suitable for a proactive and experienced customer service professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring others,
and excels at resolving complex customer issues with sound judgement and a collaborative approach. Key Responsibility Areas
- Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve enquiries, including complex issues and escalations.
- Support the Manager Customer Relations in supervising daily operations and team performance.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to staff, including onboarding and capability development.
- Ensure accurate customer records, compliance with policies, and proper documentation in CRM systems.
- Monitor workloads, review outputs, and drive continuous improvement to meet service standards and targets.
- The successful applicant must be available to work 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday to support business operating hours.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a relevant customer service setting is not mandatory but will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting and mentoring team members.
