BKB Group is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Draftsperson to be based at our Pakenham Production Facility.
Job Title: Draftsperson
Job Description
The role requires a person with a high attention to detail, communication and organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. The primary function of this role is drafting of the various projects manufactured in our facility
Tasks to be undertaken
The main responsibilities of the role include:
· Prepare GA drawings and fabrication drawings for fire pumpsets, enclosures and tanks.
· Prepare drawings for folding operation and laser cutting operation
· Manage and coordinate various finishing processes
· Design and prototype components
· Prepare drawings for the engineering/manufacturing team using Auto CAD and Solidworks.
· Ensure a productive working relationship is developed with all team members.
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
· Mechanical engineering graduates welcome
· High attention to details and cutting-edge traits
· Knowledge of engineering & technical drawing preparation preferred
· Well-developed self-management skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver quality outputs in a timely manner and cost effective manner.
· A high attention to detail.
· Experience in 2D AutoCAD as well as 3D Solidworks essential
