Griffin Marine Services Pty Ltd, a leading provider of marine services to Defence and commercial operators, is seeking skilled Shipwrights to join our growing team.
Opportunities are available in Hope Valley (WA), Sydney (NSW), Darwin (NT), and Cairns (QLD).
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, repair, and maintain marine structures using materials like steel and aluminum.
- Interpret drawings and plans accurately.
- Precisely measure, mark, and cut materials for critical hull and deck components.
- Work on diverse ship systems, including watertight integrity and outfitting.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Shipwright experience, preferably in a marine or heavy industrial workplace.
- A positive understanding of Safety and PPE requirements in an industrial setting.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- The ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- An OHS Construction Induction White Card.
Desirable (but not mandatory)
- Confined Space Entry certification.
- Fire Sentry Training.
- Working at Heights certification.

The salary for this position is $74,000 to $90,000 per year, dependent on your skills and experience.
