We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our busy kitchen team at our Livingston restaurant. The successful applicant will be passionate about preparing high-quality meals, maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards, and working efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
To apply you will need to have a completed Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and over 5 years’ experience as a cook.
We are offering $80K to $82K Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and present a variety of authentic Chinese dishes in accordance with established recipes & quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation, portion control and stock rotation.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served to a consistently high standard.
- Monitor food quality, freshness and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Comply with workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
