Join us as a Project Officer, Quality and Standards in our Policy and Advocacy Unit, reporting to the Senior Manager, Standards. In this role, you will support clinical excellence by coordinating quality programs, standards and continuous improvement initiatives that support safe, high-quality radiology and radiation oncology care across Australia and New Zealand.

What You’ll Do

- Provide secretariat support to committees, panels, working groups and quality programs (including the need for out of hours support).
- Contribute to meetings and stakeholder engagements to convey key messages on standards, quality and professional projects.
- Prepare high-quality documentation such as agendas, minutes, reports, work-plans and skilled communications.
- Collate and synthesise advice from multiple sources, regarding matters including but not limited to standards, clinical excellence, consultations, professional practice and quality initiatives.
- Review, update and maintain the College’s consumer-facing website, Inside Radiology, ensuring content remain current and gaps are identified and addressed.
- Act as point of contact for queries from members and external stakeholders, including consultations, information requests, advice, concerns and complaints.




- Ensure that College information and professional documents are accurate, current and updated in a timely manner, including but not limited to guidelines, position statements and standards.

What You’ll Bring

- Appropriate tertiary qualification in a related discipline and/or relevant work experience.
- Experience working in a not-for-profit, membership organisation and/or the healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and to provide accurate, timely and well-reasoned advice.
- Demonstrated experience synthesising technical and/or clinical information from multiple sources and translating it into clear standards, guidance and other clinical excellence documents.
- Demonstrated experience providing secretariat support for member-based committees and working groups (e.g., agendas, minutes, papers, action tracking and meeting logistics).
- Demonstrated customer service skills, including responding to enquiries and managing stakeholder expectations professionally.
- Strong communication, consultation and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to manage interactions with key internal and external partners.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, use initiative and manage competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience working within a matrix governance structure, including committees and working groups (desirable).
- Knowledge of the Australian and/or New Zealand Health systems and medical workforce (or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge).
