About the role
We're looking for a fleet service manager to own a portfolio of key national fleet accounts. This is a relationship first role - you will be the first point of contact for fleet operators, day to day you will be solving service and repair related issues, supporting the sales team with accurate costings/quotes, attending industry events and providing support where required to the national dealer network. A mechanical / technical background of some description is highly beneficial and the ability to deal confidently with senior contacts within our key fleet partners is crucial.
Duties
- Manage and maintain relationships with national fleet customers, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction
- Provide technical and operational support to fleet sales teams,
including service cost analysis and maintenance solutions
- Coordinate and assist with fleet-related projects, helping drive operational efficiency and customer outcomes
- Attend customer meetings, industry events, and fleet functions across Australia
- Work closely with dealer networks and workshop teams to resolve service issues and minimise vehicle downtime
- Please note some travel is required; approx. 3-4 nights per month away from home. Flexibility around how this is structured.
Skills and experience
- Mechanical trade background with strong technical knowledge of vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Experience managing fleet customers, service operations, or aftersales support within the automotive or transport industry
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with confidence using business systems and reporting tools
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously
