Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint both a Senior Accountant and an Assistant Manager to join their team.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive public practice firm where you'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients across accounting, taxation and business advisory.
As a key member of the team, you'll manage your own client relationships, deliver high-quality accounting and tax services, and confidently lead one-on-one meetings with clients to discuss financial statements and tax returns. For those joining at the Assistant Manager level, there will also be opportunities to mentor junior staff and continue developing your leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and BAS for a diverse client portfolio.
- Manage your own client relationships and become a trusted advisor.
- Conduct one-on-one tax return meetings with clients.
- Provide accounting, taxation and business advisory services.
- Manage workflow and client deadlines.
About You:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- 5+ years' experience within a mid-tier or boutique firm.
- Strong experience using Xero and XPM (Xero Practice Manager).
- Excellent technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence managing client relationships and leading tax return meetings independently.
- A proactive, organised approach with exceptional attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for building long-term client relationships and delivering outstanding service.
