McKean McGregor Real Estate & Livestock is seeking a creative and versatile in-house Graphic Designer & Content Creator to join our Marketing team.

This is a hands-on creative role suited to someone with strong graphic design skills who also enjoys creating content beyond traditional design. While graphic design will remain a core part of the position, the role will also contribute to photography, video and social media content across McKean McGregor’s real estate, livestock and broader business activities.

We’re not looking for someone to be an expert in everything. We are looking for a capable designer with a good creative eye who is comfortable picking up a camera or phone, capturing engaging content and turning ideas into polished creative assets across print and digital platforms.

Working as part of the Marketing team, you’ll collaborate with agents, staff and other creative specialists to produce consistent, engaging content while maintaining the McKean McGregor brand.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design

- Design and produce marketing collateral across residential, commercial and livestock divisions.

- Roll out property and business campaigns across print and digital platforms.

- Create brochures, flyers, signboards, advertisements, presentations, social media graphics and other marketing material.

- Prepare final artwork for print and production across small and large format applications.

- Create EDM and newsletter designs.

- Maintain brand consistency across all creative output.

- Adapt existing templates while also contributing fresh creative ideas when appropriate.

- Work efficiently across multiple projects with varying deadlines and priorities.

Social Media & Content Creation

- Assist in creating regular social media content for McKean McGregor and its agents.

- Capture simple, engaging photo and video content using cameras and mobile devices.

- Film agent updates, property-related content, community activities, events,



behind-the-scenes content and other short-form social media material.

- Edit short-form video content suitable for Instagram, Facebook and other digital platforms.

- Create reels, stories, graphics and other social-first content.

- Identify opportunities to turn everyday business activity into useful and engaging content.

- Work with the Marketing team to develop creative concepts and content ideas.

Photography & Video

Photography and videography are a supporting component of this role rather than an expectation that the successful applicant will operate as a specialist commercial photographer or videographer.

The role may include:

- Capturing staff and agent content.

- Photographing events, community activities and informal business content.

- Filming straightforward social media videos.

- Basic lighting and audio setup.

- Editing short-form video.

- Basic colour correction, image retouching and video finishing.

Specialist property photography, major campaigns and higher-end video productions may continue to be completed by dedicated photographers, videographers or external creative partners.

About You

You will ideally have:

- Strong graphic design skills and a good understanding of layout, typography and visual communication.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

- Some experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar video editing software.

- An understanding of designing for both print and digital platforms.

- An interest in photography, video and social media content creation.

- A positive eye for what makes engaging visual content.





- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good organisational and time-management skills.

- The ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines.

- Confidence working independently while also collaborating as part of a broader marketing team.

- A willingness to learn new platforms, techniques and creative skills.

- An understanding that effective content does not always require a major production. Sometimes a well-shot 20-second video is exactly what is needed.

Experience within real estate, agriculture or a fast-moving marketing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience & Remuneration

Ideally 2-4 years experience in graphic design or a similar creative role, however candidates with less experience and a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Experience designing across both print and digital platforms.

An understanding of social media and designing content for digital channels.

Photography, videography and video editing skills would be highly regarded but are not essential.

Experience within real estate, property or a fast-paced marketing environment would be advantageous but is not required.

Salary based on experience.

Success in this position means producing consistently high-quality design work while helping McKean McGregor create more regular and engaging digital content.

You’ll help the Marketing team respond quickly to opportunities, give agents greater support with their personal marketing and ensure the McKean McGregor brand remains professional and consistent across print, digital and social media.

Most importantly, this is a role for someone who enjoys variety. One day may involve preparing a property campaign for print, the next creating social graphics, filming an agent video or capturing content from an event.
