About the Role

We're seeking an experienced People & Culture Coordinator to join our support office team. This HR generalist role brings together recruitment and broader HR administration into a single position that spans the full employee lifecycle — from attraction and onboarding through to performance management and everyday employee relations support.

This role suits someone who is genuinely qualified in HR, comfortable working autonomously, and confident navigating complexity — whether that's a tricky award interpretation, a sensitive performance conversation, or juggling recruitment across multiple sites at once.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment across our early learning centres and support office — job ads, screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding
- Provide day-to-day HR administration support, including contracts, HRIS data integrity, and employee record management
- Support performance management processes, including probation reviews, performance improvement plans, and annual review cycles
- Provide first-line advice to service Managers and People Leaders on HR policy, procedure and award/Fair Work interpretation
- Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes, escalating complex matters as needed
- Maintain and improve HR processes, templates and documentation to support consistency across sites
- Support workforce planning activity, including anniversary/review scheduling and reporting
- Contribute to broader P&C; projects as required (e.g. restructures, policy reviews, engagement initiatives)

About You — Essential

- Qualification in Human Resources (Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree level)
- Demonstrated generalist HR experience across recruitment, HR administration and performance management
- Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and modern awards
- Highly process-driven with strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and complex, sensitive situations with sound judgement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust with leaders at all levels
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
- Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)

About You — Desirable

- Experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, or a similar multi-site services environment
- Familiarity with relevant awards (e.g. Children's Services Award, Educational Services Award)
- Experience with Employment Hero or similar HRIS systems
- Experience supporting organisational change processes

What We Offer

- A varied, autonomous generalist role with genuine scope to shape process and practice
- Supportive, close-knit support office team

- Opportunities for professional development and career growth within a growing organisation
- Adaptable working opportunities are available including hybrid work options
- Childcare discounts at any Atlantis Group Early Learning or Outside School Care service
