Located just over two hours north of Perth, The Lobster Shack is an award‑winning, high‑volume restaurant renowned for fresh local seafood, exceptional guest experiences, and a rapid‑paced, professional service environment.
About the Role
As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operations of a busy coastal venue, supporting the management team and leading front‑of‑house service to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising FOH service during busy trade
- Delivering exceptional customer experiences in a high‑volume environment
- Staff leadership, training, and on‑shift support
- Cash handling, opening and closing procedures
- Ensuring compliance with RSA, WHS, and company standards
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making during service
- Supporting a positive, team‑focused workplace culture
About You
You’re a confident, hands‑on hospitality professional who thrives in fast‑paced service and enjoys leading a team by example.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience as a Duty Manager or senior supervisor
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High‑volume restaurant or hospitality experience
- A calm, organised approach under pressure
- Excellent customer service focus
- RSA and Food Handler or Food Safety Supervisor training
- Flexibility to work weekends and peak periods
