VR General Practitioners – Urgent Care Cairns North UCC

We are currently seeking VR General Practitioners to join our Cairns North Urgent Care Centre.
Our service has been open since March and operates 8:00am–10:00pm, offering a consistent and well-supported urgent care environment within a large, purpose-built medical hub.

We offer ongoing rostered shifts as well as flexible casual and ad hoc opportunities.

What We Offer

- Competitive hourly rate starting from $250 per hour Please find the updated Urgent Care Centre (UCC) rate structure below:

- Monday–Friday (before 6pm): $250/hr
- Monday–Friday (after 6pm): $275/hr
- Weekends: $300/hr
- Public Holidays: $325/hr

- Flexible shifts – choose full or half shifts




- We are also able to offer relocation support and lump sum assistance for suitable candidates.
- Contemporary, purpose-built medical hub including:

- Urgent Care Centre
- Onsite General Practice
- Pharmacy

- Strong onsite support including management, nursing, administration, and parking
- Collegial, multidisciplinary team with a patient-centred focus

Essential Criteria

- Fellowship with RACGP (FRACGP/FARGP) or ACRRM (FACRRM)
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Interest in urgent care
