About the Role: We’re seeking experienced and qualified Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Conducting preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Working on a variety of underground mining equipment, including:

- Sandvik trucks, drills, and loaders
- CAT graders
- Volvo integrated tool carriers

- Scoping jobs and accurately estimating time, materials, and resource requirements
- Collaborating closely with shift supervisors, mechanics, and other underground personnel

What We’re Looking For:

- A Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification recognised in Australia (essential)




- At least 2 years’ post-trade experience in underground mining or related industries (e.g. agriculture, civil, construction)
- A manual driver’s licence (essential) and relevant RPLs to operate underground vehicles
- Solid knowledge of underground mining regulations, procedures, and safe handling of explosives
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and maintenance skills
- Capability to work in confined spaces and handle physically demanding conditions
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical to include a drug and alcohol screening
- National Police Clearance within the last 6 months required for this role
