About the role
The Registered Nurse – Central Sterilising Unit provides contemporary, evidence-based and patient-focused nursing care within Surgery and Procedural Services at the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS). Working as part of an interprofessional healthcare team, the role supports the delivery of safe, high-quality sterilisation services that underpin surgical and procedural care across the health service.
The successful candidate will apply clinical nursing expertise to support the operation of the Central Sterilising Unit, ensuring compliance with professional standards, policies and best practice principles. The role contributes to quality improvement initiatives, promotes a culture of safety and collaboration, and supports optimal outcomes for patients, clinicians and healthcare services.
About you

- Provide high-quality nursing care and apply clinical expertise to support safe and effective operations within the Central Sterilising Unit.
