CNC Operator / Programmer
Location: Bathurst, NSW
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $66,950 - $85,000 + Super (Negotiable based on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in high-quality commercial partitioning systems for bathrooms, offices, and office furniture. With a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and innovation, they are looking to expand their team by hiring an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer to support their growing production facility in Bathurst.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business where you'll play a key role in programming and supporting CNC manufacturing operations while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for programming CNC machinery, supporting production operations, troubleshooting machining issues, and ensuring products are manufactured accurately and efficiently.
This is a predominantly office-based role with minimal manual handling, working closely with two other CNC Operators/Programmers while supporting a factory team of approximately nine manufacturing staff operating four CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities

- Program CNC machinery using BSolid software.
- Create, modify and optimise CNC programs for production.
- Interpret production drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Support production by troubleshooting machining and programming issues.




- Perform fault finding and assist with basic machine maintenance when required.
- Ensure all machining programs meet quality standards and production deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with production staff to maximise workflow efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and programming records.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience programming CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using BSolid software (highly regarded).
- Experience using HOPPS software (desirable).
- CNC machining experience within cabinetry, joinery, furniture manufacturing or similar industries (desirable).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Current Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential).
