Operations Manager – Poultry Services

Range Workforce Solutions is partnering with a leading poultry services provider to recruit an experienced Operations Manager based in North Geelong.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an operational qualified who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading people, and can manage multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of biosecurity, safety and animal welfare.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director, you will lead the planning and delivery of operational services across Victoria and interstate, including bird transfer, vaccination, shed washing and disinfection, construction projects, euthanasia services and emergency animal disease response.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and developing field teams, crew leaders and drivers
- Planning labour, equipment and fleet across multiple projects
- Managing operational performance, budgets and scheduling
- Ensuring compliance with biosecurity, WHS and animal welfare standards
- Managing fleet, equipment and operational assets
- Building strong relationships with clients, farm managers and government stakeholders
- Supporting emergency animal disease response when required

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining office-based planning with regular site visits.

About You

You will have:

- 5+ years' experience managing field,



service or multi-site operations
- Experience in agriculture, poultry, livestock, food production, logistics or another regulated industry
- Strong leadership, planning and resource management skills
- Knowledge of WHS and compliance systems
- Commercial experience including budgeting and job costing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Current Australian Driver Licence

Experience in poultry, biosecurity or livestock operations is advantageous but not essential.

Working Environment

Based in North Geelong, the role involves regular travel across Victoria and occasional interstate travel, with some early starts, overnight travel, weekend work and participation in emergency response activities.
