Amarda is a well‑established Australian business that has been supplying pool tables and jukeboxes to pubs and clubs since 1956. With venues reassessing their floor space post‑pandemic, demand for quality entertainment equipment has never been higher, and our business is growing strongly across Melbourne and regional VIC/NSW.

About the role

We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic and well‑presented Merchandiser to service and grow our network of pubs and clubs throughout Melbourne and regional VIC/NSW.

This is a full‑time, hybrid field‑based role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, building long‑term relationships and taking ownership of their territory.

Salary: $55k (negotiable based on experience) + commission + company car

Key responsibilities

- Manage a scheduled run of venues across Melbourne and regional VIC/NSW

- Maintain strong relationships with existing venue partners and proactively build recent ones

- Clean, service and carry out basic repairs on pool tables and jukeboxes

- Replenish accessories (e.g. cues, balls, chalk) and update music in jukeboxes

- Assist with the installation and relocation of equipment as required

- Collect, reconcile and bank cash takings accurately and securely

- Support venue‑level marketing, including promoting pool competitions and in‑venue promotions

- Identify sales opportunities and contribute to revenue growth across your territory

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Be physically fit and active,



able to assist with equipment installations when required

- Be flexible with working hours – no two days are the same, and some early starts/late finishes may be needed

- Be outgoing, confident and able to communicate effectively with venue staff and owners

- Hold a current valid driver licence

- Have the aptitude to perform basic mechanical/electrical repairs (training provided)

- Have experience handling cash and reconciling takings

- Be highly organised, with strong time‑management and follow‑up skills

- Enjoy driving, particularly in regional and rural locations

- Be available to stay overnight in country areas on occasion

Experience in merchandising, field service, route work, gaming/entertainment equipment or hospitality will be highly regarded, but we are also open to candidates with transferable customer‑facing experience and the right attitude.
