With 800+ completed projects across Defence, Health, Childcare, Education and Retail, they hold full ISO accreditation plus DISP accreditation for Defence work. The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Site Foreman to run the workface on recent build commercial projects across South East Queensland — setting daily priorities, sequencing trades, holding the line on safety and quality, and keeping the Site Manager and PM informed.

The work is genuinely varied — Defence facilities, hospitals, childcare, education and retail — often on live or occupied sites. High-rise experience is not required; what matters is solid ground-up commercial experience, structure through to finishes.

Key Responsibilities

- Run the day-to-day workface, set priorities and sequence trades
- Coordinate subcontractors — inductions, pre-starts, toolbox talks
- Own site safety in practice: SWMS, permits, exclusion zones
- Drive quality via set-out checks, hold points, ITPs and inspections
- Track progress against the look-ahead programme,

- Manage materials, plant, deliveries and site presentation
- Maintain accurate site records and daily reporting
- Coordinate access and staging on live/occupied sites
- Run defect close-out through to practical completion and handover

What You'll Bring

- Trade background (carpentry preferred) or equivalent site experience
- Proven Foreman/Leading Hand experience on new build commercial projects
- Comfortable across the full build — civil, structure, services, fit-out and finishes
- QLD White Card plus relevant tickets; Blue Card and Defence clearance eligibility highly regarded
- Working knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards and QLD WHS obligations
- Able to read architectural, structural and services documentation
- Experience with site software (HammerTech, Procore or similar)
- A direct, calm communicator who holds subbies to account
