Join a values-driven, high-performing team as a Business Services Manager Accounting, where you’ll lead a portfolio of SME and family group clients, delivering strategic advice, technical oversight, and people leadership. Our client are a unique professional services firm with a dual focus:

- One arm is wealth-driven, with an accounting service built around client needs.
- The other is accounting-driven, with a strong wealth advisory component.

You’ll play a key role in driving quality outcomes across compliance and advisory services, while mentoring a capable team and contributing to the firm’s continued growth.

The Role
You will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

- Take ownership of a diverse portfolio, including successful SMEs and complex family group structures
- Review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, and other compliance deliverables across multiple entities (companies, trusts, SMSFs)
- Provide commercial and strategic advice on structuring, tax planning, and cash flow management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and accountability




- Oversee workflow management, team deadlines, and client communication to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes
- Collaborate with in-house financial advisers and specialists to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions

The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will have:

- CA or CPA qualified, with 6+ years of experience in public practice
- Strong technical expertise in Australian tax and compliance across varied entity types
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including review responsibilities and team management
- Commercially minded with the ability to build strong, consultative client relationships
- Confident working with cloud-based platforms such as Xero Practice Manager, FYI Docs, Class, or similar
- Proactive, accountable, and committed to excellence
