Karuna Hospice Services is seeking an Administration Officer to provide reliable and flexible support across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of our team, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and customer service support, including:
- Managing phones and inboxes, triaging and escalating enquiries appropriately
- Supporting records management, scheduling, filing, scanning and reporting
- Assisting with audits, stocktakes, registers and compliance-related tasks
- Extracting reports and supporting data entry and basic reporting
- Providing backfill and cross-team administrative support
- Contributing to small administrative projects and identifying opportunities to improve processes
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys being proactive, collaborative and purpose driven.
About You
You’re a warm, organised and adaptable administrator who enjoys making things run smoothly behind the scenes. You bring:
- Previous experience in administration or office support (reception, data entry, record-keeping)
- Strong customer service skills across phone, email and in-person interactions
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information in line with privacy requirements
- Confidence using database systems
- Intermediate computer & digital skills in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word & Excel
- Proven ability to prioritise, manage competing demands and adapt to changing needs
- An approachable, respectful communication style aligned with our values of humility, kindness, respect and courage
Experience in healthcare and/or community services, small project or process improvement experience and a qualification in business or similar would be highly regarded.
